Other assets (real estate, collectibles)
complete

User Story: We would like the investment of other assets, z.B. P2P, real estate & untraded collectibles and the like is possible.
Gold and other precious metals are now live. ✅
Note from the Parqet team:
- Would you like to invest an asset that an ISIN or WKN owns, regardless of whether it is still being traded or not? Send us the title of the product including ISIN - we'll be happy to add it for you if it doesn't already exist in Parqet.
- P2P, life insurance & z.B. Loans can currently be realized with cash accounts
- We are also planning a separate “extended” support for real estate, which goes into more detail. (planned for 2025)
- For all other assets (z.B. non-exchange-traded products, collectibles, NFTs, etc.), we are planning an input in which the current price and transaction prices can be entered. (planned for 2025)
❗ There is no longer an asset limit for Parqet subscribers (Plus, Investor, etc.). This means that you can create as many “other assets” as you want.

The real estate part has been working for me for a few months and has turned out well. Thank you!

Are the Android widgets now also fully supported (asset class filters, etc.). That was missing from my last test...

Jürgen Schmidt: ?$#@$, I seem to have missed the feedback?

Other assets are now live! All sorts of assets and real estate can be invested; some use cases and examples are described in the FAQ!

As of now, we've removed the sub-items for “Insurance” and “P2P” (these were available during the beta). We are currently still revising them so that better registration is possible in the future.
We are looking forward to your feedback, feel free to write to us there in the community or via parqet.com/help.
Best regards

Björn Beier I hope P2P will also be added soon. I was just a bit disappointed, I was hoping to finally be able to track my P2P investments better.

Hi guys. In this context, please also remember that the individual activities can then be manually converted from a cash position to the new asset when the other assets are introduced. This means that you do not have to create all new positions and delete the old ones, but can only change the asset class.
Thank you guys

Is there any news about this now? I would also find a function for inserting tangible assets very helpful, that is a feature that I lack in all portfolio apps that I've tested so far... for me, that would be a strong pro argument for parqet if I had to make a new decision. This doesn't have to be anything complicated for now, just the value of real estate or cars as a manual input and, if possible, an input option for income or costs, such as rental income.

Hi, did I miss something, or is there any new information missing about this? The post was apparently from 2023. Thanks for the info

I have now recently added my property to the ohne-makler.net portfolio. I have to say that I really like this one, as here too, an approximate property value is determined over time. In addition, many key figures such as current rental income and energy class can be entered here. Everything has an impact on the value of the property. Maybe that's a good inspiration for you there, which you can include in Parqet.

Björn Beier I know you don't like to say when a feature is coming. But this feature here is one of the top requested features and has been “in progress” for ages. Back in August 2024, you wrote about the upcoming full expansion. It was later said “will be earlier in 2025” and then “we will focus on 3 features in 2025, the other assets are one of them.”
The year 2025 will soon be over. So can we expect something about the other assets soon?
Back then, I chose Parqet and Premium because I assumed that the other assets would be coming soon. For me, and as you read for many others, this would be the last missing piece of the puzzle for a comprehensive wealth management tool.
Recently, I have the impression that Parqet is more concerned with broker connections. That is certainly helpful for your growth and I don't want to question it at all. But I assume that partnerships such as with ING take up a lot of your resources. Please don't forget that other premium users would also like to have a major functional update again.

Stefan I share the frustration 100% — except that another request is being merged here every week, seems (!) There is nothing to do here. It would be really great to have transparency whether the feature is coming or not

Stefan same here. TR has also made the transformation from Chart a pie this year. I believe that in the future, there will be additional demand from many investors to be able to track this sensibly.
Transparency in communication is simply important.
S
Stefan
Florian What do you mean by TR?

Stefan TradeRepublic now also offers other assets and this multi-asset portfolio presentation is in the end also what we want here as investors at Parqet. Except that we still want things here, such as real estate, etc., which of course you can't easily buy from TR.
But there will already be things like ELTIFs or even one or the other active fund among investors.

Stefan. 100% and straight to the point. What does a year-end wrap with great sayings bring me forward. It's a nice Christmas and New Year decoration, but in the end it's not what the customer uses and pays for the service. It would be really, really nice if “other tangible assets” were prioritized. I've now positioned mine under cash and to be honest, that messes up the evaluation for me. I'm looking forward to January, when I hope you'll have time again for the important things. And including new brokers is great, but it doesn't affect all users. Tangible assets do!!! merci
Björn Beier
Tom: Tangible assets also do not affect all users. Many people don't care about that either. The feature is in beta, we are not yet satisfied and will release it when we are satisfied with the state of play.

Björn Beier My post should actually be seen as constructive criticism. The second time I read it, however, he seems a bit too forcefully formulated. I apologize for that.
The tangible assets may not be of interest to everyone, but they are in first or second place of the voted features with over 3.000 votes and 292 comments. No question about it, you decide what is important to you as a Parqet and how you use your resources. However, I think the figures make it clear what is important to your customers.
If it's in beta, it might be a great Christmas gift for users when it's released. Best regards
S
Stefan
Björn Beier To throw out the statement “Many don't care either” for the top 2 feature with 3000 votes is bold. Don't you care about us either?
Thanks for the update with the beta - we can still hope for then.
Björn Beier
Stefan I don't know exactly what the taunt is about ^^
I don't think the statement is bold, 3000 votes are less than 1% of our user base. Yes, many simply have no other tangible assets. Nevertheless, we know that this is a great wish, it is logical and clear. We're tackling the feature accordingly. It is in beta, we will continue to push it forward and then release it. But there is more to z.B. Renewing the flow of how assets are created in the first place. The categorization into “real asset classes,” which has simply grown historically for us (z.B. Securities are not an asset class, but bonds and stocks are one that are currently “grouped equally”).
So yes: we're working on it, we hear you and that's important for me too.
Björn Beier
Tom I didn't take it in a bad way, no need to apologize - sorry if my answer came across like that. Prioritization is unfortunately a difficult issue. We're not just following the community votes either. This is an indicator that we use, but not the exclusive criterion. But as already mentioned, the feature here will be 100%, it is already being tested but we are not yet satisfied.
S
Stefan
Björn Beier I didn't mean it as a taunt. I just didn't understand the statement because there are people who don't care about every feature.
And: I don't have any tangible assets either. But I have other assets (z.B. non-exchange-traded share certificates) that cannot be reflected in Parqet today. I hope, of course, that the new feature will generally support “Other Assets” and not just “Other Tangible Assets” ;-)
In any case, thanks for the hopeful update!
